Norman Earl Mulholland, age 71, peacefully passed away on August 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of four decades, Diane (née Gillespie), who passed away on September 21, 2022. Norm was a dedicated automotive mechanics teacher at Woodroffe High School for many years, where his lighthearted sense of humor never failed to brighten the atmosphere. He had the wonderful ability to leave a lasting positive impression on everyone he encountered and was highly regarded by all.

Norm is survived by his sister Gail Denton-Volk, as well as his children: Mark (Dawn-Marie) Mulholland, Shannon (Mark) Lenahan, Nancy Holmes (David Lauzon), and Bruce (Franca) Holmes. Additionally, he leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who brought him great joy throughout his life.

Visitation for Norman Earl Mulholland will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Tubman Funeral Home, Garden Chapel, located at 3440 Richmond Rd. The visitation hours will be from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place the following day, on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 11:00 am in the chapel.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Nicole Lindsay, a devoted caregiver and dear friend, for her unwavering support of Norm. They would also like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Bruyère Hospice for their exceptional care.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Cancer Society, as a testament to Norman’s lifelong commitment to helping others and his desire to make a difference in the fight against this devastating disease.
