Olga PATTERSON

Olga (Dostal) Patterson, a longtime resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services in Newbury on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the age of 88. She was born in Chatham, the daughter of Frank and Mary Dostal. Olga was married to the late Ken Patterson, who passed away in 1999. She was a loving mother to Carole Ann Presley (Barry), Rick Patterson (Joanne), Sandra Patterson (Jamie Walker), Gary Patterson, Brian Patterson, and Dave Patterson (Judi Fisher). Olga was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to Krista Parker (Bryan), Amanda Irwin (Michael), Daryl Presley (Brie), Grant Patterson (Alyssa), Andrea Lozzi (Nikolas), Alex Patterson, Jeremy Kemp (predeceased), Lauren Sooklal (David), Emma Patterson, Chevy Fisher, Seth Hedges, and great-grandchildren Ashten, Bryden, Ivy, Olivia, Ella, Cruz, Amelia, Leo, Owen, Hunter, and Lucy. She is survived by her dear sister, Marion Allaer (late George), and was preceded in death by her infant sister Lillian and Ken’s parents, George and Edna Patterson. Olga also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The Patterson Family will be receiving friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, located at 72 Victoria St., Thamesville. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service in Olga’s honor will take place in the chapel on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Thamesville. Instead of sending flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to either the Thamesville Fireman’s Association (c/o P.O.
