Olive Frances Chambers, formerly known as Olive Frances Palmer, has departed from this world, leaving a void that is vast and unimaginable. She was not only a devoted wife, but also a cherished sister, daughter, aunt, and faithful friend. Her love for her family, friends, community, and church was boundless. Known for her compassionate heart, Olive consistently imparted her wisdom onto others.

Olive bore the immense pain of losing her husband, Ralph Chambers, in 2005, as well as her sister, Joyce Pattison, and her parents, William Frances Palmer and Olive Maude Prouse. However, she is still survived by her loving nieces, Karen Goucher and Lori Macdonald, and her nephew, Dave Watson, who is married to Sharon. Additionally, Gregory and Bradley Macdonald, her great-nephews, and two great-great nieces also survive her.

Olive had an extensive circle of faithful friends, too numerous to mention individually. To Ron, David, Sharon, and numerous others who stood by her side until the end, the family expresses sincere gratitude. The loss left by her absence is immeasurable, causing an indescribable void in our hearts.

Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at Denning’s of West Lorne, located at 202 Main Street, West Lorne (519-785-0810), on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 11 a.m. Olive will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to the Parkinson Society. To share memories and offer condolences, please visit: http://www.westelginfuneralhome.com.
