Paul Kent Godfrey, born on September 11, 1945, embarked on his final journey, leaving behind a void in the lives of those who loved him dearly. As a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend, his absence is deeply felt. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Thelma, and their four sons, Kent (Jennifer), Levi (Aubrey), Ryan (Rosalind), and Stephen (Sarah), along with his cherished eight grandchildren. Regrettably, he was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and Granddaughter Laraya.

During his career at Dow Chemical and the Alberta Government, Paul found immense satisfaction and joy. He deeply valued the time spent working in these professional environments.

The exceptional care that Paul received from the U of A Hematology ward, as well as the phenomenal support from Dr. Belch, Joanne Hewitt, and her team at the Cross Cancer Institute, will always be appreciated by his loved ones. In memory of Paul, donations can be made to the Myeloma Alberta Support Society.

A heartfelt service was held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 2090 Sherwood Drive, Sherwood Park. For those unable to attend, the service was recorded and can be accessed on Youtube at: [insert link].

Rest in peace, dear Paul. Your warm presence and kind soul will forever be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
