Paul McMachen

Paul David McMachen, beloved husband, father, son, uncle, and friend, has left us with a heavy heart. He will always be remembered by his wife, Elizabeth McMachen, his daughter, Jaymi McMachen, and his faithful puppy, Titan. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Wesley McMachen. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Faye Nourry, his brothers Wayde and Jeff Smith, as well as his sister-in-law, Amy Cavanaugh, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and Facebook acquaintances.

We would like to express our gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for their exceptional care and support. From the small gestures of bringing Paul his favorite coffee from Timmies to assisting him with his tablet, everyone recognized and cherished his unique sense of humor. We are particularly thankful to the dedicated staff on Kidd 10 for their unwavering commitment during his final stay at the hospital.

Cremation has already occurred, and a quiet graveside service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, where Paul will be laid to rest alongside his beloved father. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in his memory. Paul’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
