Paul Ward, aged 60, passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2023, at his residence in Kemptville, Ontario. It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved brother. Paul is survived by his mother, Edna (Kent), and siblings Barb (Victor), Bonnie (Mark), and Mark. He is also remembered by his nephews Jon, Neil, Patrick, Ryan, Riley, Matthew, Jaxon, and his great nephews Troy, Drew, and Lenny. Paul will be greatly missed by his extended family, cousins, and friends.

Throughout the years, Paul dedicated himself to taking care of his mother and being a devoted son. He enjoyed playing golf in his free time and participating in aqua fit classes. Paul recently retired from his role at Revenue Canada, fondly reminiscing about the memories he shared with his colleagues. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Kelly’s Funeral Home-Orleans, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A Memorial Service for Paul will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society.

Recently, Paul retired from his position at Revenue Canada, a job he cherished and where he created countless cherished memories with his colleagues. Family and friends are invited to join us in paying our final respects at Kelly’s Funeral Home-Orleans, located at 2370 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Following the visitation, a Memorial Service honoring Paul’s life will commence at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society in honor of Paul.

The family has arranged for visitation at Kelly’s Funeral Home-Orleans, located at 2370 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Following the visitation, there will be a Memorial Service held in honor of Paul at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel, followed by a reception. Instead of floral tributes, donations in remembrance of Paul can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society.
