Pauline Rose Sharkey, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 19, 2023, in Winchester. She was born on January 17, 1939, in Winchester to Frank and Ida Cross. After living most of her life in Chesterville with her husband Francis, she returned to Winchester in the late 90s. Pauline dedicated her working years to Dundas Manor until her retirement. She was a devoted member of St. Clare’s Anglican Church in Winchester. Pauline is survived by her children Bobby (Maggie), Debbie (Rick Rochon), and Donna (Guy Heuff). She was predeceased by her loving husband Francis, siblings Beatrice, Willis, Joyce, Carol, and Susan, as well as her granddaughter Kaitlyn. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer (Anthony), John (Stacey), Kevin (Taylor), Kirk (Veronique), and her great-grandchildren Ethan, MacKenzie, Maverick, and Gabriella. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Jacqueline Cross, brother-in-law Dan Gordon, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family expresses their gratitude to the Osgoode Care Centre for the excellent care provided to Pauline.

Visitation will be held at the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, located at 472 Main Street on October 27, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Clare’s Anglican Church, located at 2530 Falcone Ln, Winchester, followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
