Peter Angus McDonald, born on April 18, 1931, passed away on July 4, 2023. We invite you to join us in commemorating the life of Angus on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Edwards Family Centre, located at 333 4th Avenue North. (Courtesy parking is available at Saskatoon Funeral Home). Angus dedicated his life to his passion for motorcycles, classic cars, and repairing anything mechanical. Throughout the years, he pursued a wide range of interests, including serving as the former president of the Saskatoon Rifle and Revolver Club, and as a founding member of the Saskatoon Sports Car Club. Additionally, Angus was a lifelong member of the Shooting Federation of Canada. From 1948 to 1988, he worked in the motorcycle industry, first with Nicolson Bros and then co-owning Hub City Honda. Prior to retirement, Angus worked at Flexicoil, where he eagerly embraced the challenge of learning to operate the CNC Lathe. In 1984, he married Alice Olbort, and together, they resided in Saskatoon for the next 34 years. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. For instance, Angus actively served as the former president of the Saskatoon Rifle and Revolver Club, and he co-founded the Saskatoon Sports Car Club. Furthermore, he held a lifelong membership with the Shooting Federation of Canada. Angus dedicated 40 years of his life, from 1948 to 1988, to the motorcycle business. His journey began with Nicolson Bros and later led him to co-ownership of Hub City Honda. Angus’ final employment years were spent at Flexicoil, where he eagerly embraced the challenges of using the CNC Lathe.
