Rebecca HENRICKSEN

Rebecca Jane Henricksen, a resident of Regina, passed away on October 29, 2023, after bravely battling brain cancer for 14 years. She is fondly remembered by her parents, Don and Rosemary Henricksen, her sister Rachel (Dean) Arrowsmith, brother Philip (Ainsley), and her cherished friend, Joel Sopp. Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandparents Heinz and Melba Henricksen, as well as Philip and Barbara Betteridge. Alongside her immediate family, she leaves behind a vast network of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Kings Corner Church of God in Regina at 2:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a photo memory accompanied by a caption to be displayed on a special wall honoring Rebecca’s life. The service will also be livestreamed on the church’s website, http://www.kingscorner.ca, and on their Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/kingscornercog. In lieu of cards, memorial donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit – 3A at Pasqua Hospital in Regina or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. Rebecca Henricksen’s spirit of adventure led her through life, despite the challenges of her illness. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and love that will forever be treasured by her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace, and her memory continue to inspire all who knew her.
