Reginald HANNAH
Reginald Allen “Reg” Hannah, born on January 7, 1942, departed from this world on October 30, 2023. With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of a cherished soulmate, Laura (nee Angrove)’s lifelong partner, best friend, and accomplice. Reg was a phenomenal father to Chris and Andrea Phillipson and took immense pride in being a loving grandfather to Esker Norman (Melaine Harding) and Max Hannah (Megan Earley). He also adored his great-grandchildren, Maeve and Brigid. Reg will forever be missed by his close friends turned family, Paul and Betty Rescorla, their daughter Trish, and her family. He is now reunited with his late parents, Lorne and Keitha. Reg leaves behind his siblings Murray, Lorraine Grant, Dianne Mollard, and David, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
A private family gathering was held to bid farewell to Reg, followed by his cremation. The arrangements were entrusted to the care of Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home located at 309 Johnson St., Kingston (613-548-7973). As a tribute to Reg, he requested that those who mourn his loss perform a small act of kindness in his honor. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Reginald Allen “Reg” Hannah. He leaves behind beloved wife Laura (nee Angrove), who was not just his soulmate but also his closest friend and confidante throughout their shared journey. Reg was a devoted and exceptional father to Chris and Andrea Phillipson. He was overjoyed to be a proud grandfather to Esker Norman (Melaine Harding) and Max Hannah (Megan Earley). His love extended further to his great-grandchildren, Maeve and Brigid. Reg formed strong bonds with his friends, Paul and Betty Rescorla, and their daughter Trish, treating them as if they were family. Reg’s parents, Lorne and Keitha, preceded him in death. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Murray, Lorraine Grant, Dianne Mollard, and David, along with his nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony for immediate family members was held to commemorate Reg’s life, followed by his cremation. The arrangements were handled by Robert J.
