He shared an incredible 34-year marriage with his loving wife, Florence Brin. Rene, born in Spiritwood Saskatchewan, was the youngest son of Frank and Bernadette Brin. Throughout his career, he worked as a dedicated lumberjack, spending most of his years in Prince George, BC. Known for his musical talents, Rene was a cherished member of the Knights of Columbus for 40 years and brought joy to many members and residents of local senior centers and long-term care facilities with his music. The funeral service to honor Rene’s life will take place on October 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at The Parish of Sacred Heart in Wetaskiwin, AB. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to “The Mustard Seed or The Hope Mission.”
