Robert Brown

Robert “Bob” Brown, a beloved husband and father, peacefully passed away at his home in Mazerolle Settlement, NB, on August 22, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1958, in Woodstock, NB, to Marshall Brown and the late Merena Brown (Hanson) of Southhampton, NB. Bob was married to his loving wife, Melita Brown (Betts), for 48 years. He is survived by his wife, father, two sons named Robert (Rob) Brown and Joshua (Josh) Brown, a sister named Debbie Brown, and brothers named Thomas (Tom) Brown and Timothy (Tim) Brown. Bob was also blessed with five grandchildren named Mika, Alyssa, Ben, Ezekiel, and Kadence. Sadly, he was predeceased by his mother, Merena Brown, and his brother, Teddy Brown. Bob will be deeply missed by his extended family and loved ones.

Throughout his life, Bob worked as a truck driver, dedicating over 20 years to Armour Transport. His extensive travels allowed him to forge meaningful relationships with countless individuals, earning their respect and friendship. Bob had a kind and loving nature, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He took great pride in his home and enjoyed spending time in his garage, working on carpentry projects and inventing gadgets to fix anything that crossed his path. Bob had a natural talent for mechanics and derived immense joy from working on vehicles, particularly his cherished Tracker. When he wasn’t busy, he reveled in outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and riding his beloved Harley. His numerous Sunday visits to his father held a special place in both their hearts. Bob’s family will forever cherish the memories of his jokes, chats, stories, and the countless adventures they shared together.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff at DECH, Extra Mural, as well as their family, friends, and neighbors for their unwavering care and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Bob’s memory may make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
