On Saturday, November 4, 2023, Robert Frankfurt passed away peacefully. He was the loving husband of Lorris Adelstein for forty-nine years and the father of Charles and Jeremy. He was also a proud grandfather of Ivy and Toby. Robert was known as a quiet, soft-spoken, humble, and unassuming gentleman who will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A private funeral was held on Sunday, November 5, with burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery. The family requested that the Shiva be strictly private and asked for donations in Robert’s memory to be made to the “Robert Frankfurt Memorial Fund” at either the Donald Berman Jewish Hospital of Hope Eldercare Foundation or the Toronto Holocaust Museum.
