Robert W. Race, lovingly known as Bob, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 72, at the Brockville General Hospital. He was deeply devoted to his late wife Karen (Moore) Race and was a cherished father to Bob Race Jr. (Cathy Wilson). Bob brought immense joy to the lives of his grandchildren, Carter and Maddox Rennick, and Emma and Jack Wilson. His best friend, Joan Ruman, will forever miss his companionship. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter Bridget Race, his sister Nancy, and his parents Marjorie and Ernie Race.
A private graveside service and interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery to commemorate Bob’s life and honor his memory. A celebration of Bob’s Life will also be planned for a later date.
