It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved family member, who died on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the age of 68. He is survived by his daughter Kelly Anne Boughner (Roy) and his grandchildren Kiarra, Jadeyn, and Karisa Boughner. Also left to mourn are his loyal dog Bailey, as well as his sisters Aline Remijos (Frank), Irène Tremblay (late Gaetan – 2016), Carole Merenda (late Giovanni – 2018), and Colette Bélair (Lionel) all from Timmins, and his brother George Dupras Jr. from Duncan, B.C. Additionally, nieces, nephews, and cousins mourn his loss. He was preceded in death by his parents George Dupras Sr. (1977) and Gisèle Clément (2000), as well as his sisters Thérèse Courchesne (1987) (Robert – 2008) and Jeannine Ohman (2019) (William Davidson – 2005) and her second husband (John Ohman – 2006). According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or service, and his cremation has already taken place. The family kindly requests that remembrance donations be made to the Timmins and District Humane Society.
