Roger TAYLOR
Roger Frank Taylor of Airdrie sadly passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Terry Taylor (Zaporosky) and is remembered with love by his children, Christopher Taylor and Heather Taylor (Randy), as well as grandsons Kolten and Trueman Taylor. Roger is also survived by his brother Donald Taylor (Sheila) and sister Rhoda Schreiner. He will be greatly missed by numerous relatives, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and honorary family members and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Vera Taylor, as well as his sister Donna Moorhouse, brother Trueman Taylor, brother-in-law Peter Schriener, sister-in-law Deanna Taylor (Weideman), and nephew Rob Schriener.
Born on June 3, 1948, in Edmonton, AB, Roger had a passion for all things mechanical. He was known for his ability to fix anything with a motor or find someone who could. Roger worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and had various certifications, including as a millwright. He enjoyed camping and spending time in his garage. Family and friends were a central part of Roger’s life, and he cherished traveling with his wife, Terry, and watching his grandchildren grow up. Roger was an active volunteer in the Airdrie community and was known for his infectious sense of humor and lively spirit.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Rocky Mountain House Dialysis unit and Homecare for their exceptional care of Roger over the past year. Following his wishes, there will be no public service at this time.
