Roman Leo Paul Poncelet, aged 92, peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was a devoted husband to Anne (Prytula), who preceded him in death in 2017, and they shared over 60 years of marriage. Roman is lovingly remembered by his children Darren (Carolyn) and Rick (Maureen), his grandchildren Reagan, Evan, Brooke, and Kaitlyn, as well as his great-grandson Brady. He was born on December 24, 1931, in Meacham District, Saskatchewan, in a farmhouse situated on the expansive prairie. Roman’s passion in life revolved around farming. Honoring his wishes, a cremation has been conducted. A private gathering for the immediate family will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Saskatoon.
