We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Ronnie Shak on October 28, 2023. Ronnie, aged thirty-seven, was a beloved father to his son, Ezra Israel, who brought immense joy and light into his life. He is survived by his grieving parents, Moshe and Nomy Shak, to whom Ronnie’s love and dedication knew no bounds. His siblings and their partners, Ayelet Fredriksen and Yair Yaish, Danny Shak and Karen Bitton, Perry Shak and Ilana Galperin, as well as Aviv Shak – his closest companion, hold him dear in their hearts. Ronnie will forever be cherished, and his absence will be deeply felt by his nieces and nephews, Erik, Lisa, Ethan, Sophie, Noah-Kai, Rowen, Jacky, Holden, and Kate, along with his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His sense of humor, intelligence, generosity, fun-loving spirit, immense kindness, and unwavering love for Hashem will be greatly missed. The funeral service will take place on November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. Burial will follow at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. The Shak family will observe Shiva at the residence of Ronnie’s brother, Perry.
