Rose-Marie Haché

We regretfully inform you of the passing of Rose-Marie Haché, who peacefully left us on July 25, 2023, at the Maison Albert House in Moncton. Born on March 3, 1950, Rose-Marie was the beloved daughter of the late Émile Haché and Alexandra Landry. She is survived by her loving husband, Jean-Claude Basque, her sister Isabelle (Boudreault) and her husband Lucien Boudreault of Bathurst, and her brother Jean-Claude Haché and his wife Kathy Ross Haché of Fredericton. Sadly, she was predeceased by her brother Fernand. Rose-Marie is also fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nephew Cédric Haché of Fredericton.

Rose-Marie dedicated over three decades to her passion for teaching. She began her career in Labrador and later returned to teach at the Claude Taylor School in Riverview. She then moved to Fredericton, where she taught at the Centre communautaire Saint-Anne before continuing her journey at the Anna Malenfant and Amirault Schools in Dieppe. Her illustrious career culminated as the principal of Saint Henri School in Moncton.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the G.L. Dumont Hospital, the Driscoll Extra-Mural Services, and Maison Albert House for their professional and compassionate care during Rose-Marie’s brief illness. In honor of her life, a celebration will be held on August 10, 2023, from 3 to 4 p.m., at the Passage Funeral Cooperative in Moncton, located at 625 Mountain Road. While there will be no funeral service, messages of condolence can be shared through the website http://www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca. Donations in memory of Rose-Marie may be made to the Maison Albert House in Moncton. We are grateful for the arrangements conducted by Passage Funeral Co-operative and Cremation Centre, as they provide the utmost care and support during this time of loss.
