Rose Rae (nee Frunchak)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Rae on October 26, 2023, at the age of 90. Her beloved husband, George Rae, who shared 36 beautiful years of marriage with her, preceded her in death in 2003. Additionally, Rose was preceded in death by her siblings Nick and Dave Frunchak, as well as her sister Vera Shandro.

Rose’s nieces and nephews are left to mourn her loss, cherishing the memories they shared with their beloved aunt.

To honor Rose’s life, a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2 pm at Glenwood Funeral Home in Sherwood Park, AB. Prior to the service, a visitation will occur at 1 pm, allowing loved ones to pay their respects.

The family expresses sincere gratitude towards the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital, Unit 5F3, for their compassionate care during Rose’s final moments.

Rose’s presence will be sorely missed, but her memory will forever be treasured. She will be loved always and never forgotten.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
