Shellie Jane Hine, a beloved woman known for her gentle and loving nature, has sadly passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. Throughout her life, Shellie always prioritized her family, even while diligently working at Nortel from 1973 until its closure in 2000. She displayed unwavering dedication in caring for her husband, Stephen, during his health struggles, never losing hope and ultimately helping him regain good health. Shellie cherished spending quality time with her grandchildren, indulging them with their favorite treats and meals while engaging in fun games. Additionally, she had a passion for swimming and could often be found enjoying the refreshing waters of her pool. Shellie’s talents extended beyond the kitchen, as she excelled in baking and cooking, earning the title of the greatest cook and chef among her loved ones. Furthermore, she possessed a green thumb and delighted in planting and cultivating her own herbs and vegetables. Shellie and Stephen shared a unique bond, undertaking various projects together, with her remarkable affinity for decor and design. The couple cherished their time in their vacation home in Florida, where they formed lasting friendships. In her social circles, Shellie was known for cherishing moments spent with friends and family. She leaves behind her grief-stricken husband, Stephen, and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Brandy, and son, Tyler, as well as her adored grandchildren: Haiden, Hailey, Phoenyx, and Valen. Additionally, her brother Steve Cronkright (Stephanie), sister Vickie Lott (Doug), and numerous nieces and nephews will forever hold her in loving memory. Although the pain is deep, the beautiful memories she left behind will serve as a source of comfort. May her soul rest in peace. The family wholeheartedly expresses gratitude to the VON (Victorian Order of Nurses) for their exceptional care and extends their thanks to the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Kidd 3 and 5 at K.G.H (Kingston General Hospital) for their unwavering commitment.
