Shirley Murray (Schmaus) peacefully passed away at the age of 95 on August 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Craig. Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by her daughters, Debra McDonald (Don) and Diane Totland (Murray), along with four grandchildren: Andrew McDonald (Shanna), Caitlin Odigie (Oduwa), Jenna Totland, and Hailey Hamoline (Spencer). Her memory is cherished by six great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and other dear individuals who will forever hold her in their hearts. The compassionate care provided by the 3rd neighbourhood staff at Sherbrooke Community Centre is deeply appreciated and acknowledged.

In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, as a tribute to her remarkable life, donations to a charity of your choice can be made in her honor. Shirley’s kindness, warmth, and love will forever be remembered and celebrated by those fortunate enough to have known her.
