Shirley ‘Sally’ Rhea Hemming, formerly known as Shirley Rhea Elliott, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 17, 2023, at her residence in London, Ontario. She was surrounded by her family when she peacefully left this world. Shirley was born on [birth date] to Glen and Edith Elliott and sadly lost her beloved husband, Dr. John H. Hemming, in 2015. Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Jennifer Jane Rochon and Joanna Doreen Makinson, and her adored grandchildren, Kit and Onyx Makinson. Sally will be dearly missed by her numerous friends and acquaintances.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Byron, where her ashes will be interred. Following this, a memorial service will take place at the same church at 1:00 p.m., with a reception following the service.
