Stanley Cadloff passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the age of 92, surrounded by his beloved family. He was the son of Hyman and Ethel Cadloff and was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Judith Gross. Stanley was a devoted and cherished father to Lawrence Cadloff and Pierre Crouch, as well as Ellen and David Prupas. He was also a loving Papa to his grandchildren Jessica and Samara Prupas.

Stanley was a beloved brother to Sydney and the late Bess Cadloff, the late Harold and the late Mildred Cadloff, the late Lionel and the late Laurie Gordon, the late Philip and the late Rachel Gordon, the late Bill and the late Pearl Cadloff, and the late Joseph and the late Sybil Cadloff. He was also a brother-in-law to Joan and the late Lou Gross, and the late Agnes and the late Bernard Klein.

Stanley will always be remembered for his warm smile and his humorous jokes. He was a loving and dedicated father, husband, and grandfather. His legacy of love and gentleness will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chantal Cassis and Hematology Nurse Consultant Tiziana Vadacchino for their exceptional care and compassion. They would also like to thank Dr. Stefanie Thomassin, nurse Olive Mukaniwa, and the entire team at the CLSC – Palliative Care Division West Island for their wonderful care during Stanley’s final days. Special thanks are also extended to his dedicated caregiver, Erlinda Bienes.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Paperman & Sons (3888 Jean Talon St. W.). Stanley will be laid to rest at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva will take place at his daughter’s home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley’s memory can be made to the “Stanley Cadloff Memorial Fund” (Hematology-Oncology) at the Jewish General Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
