Susan GOLD-REICH

Susan Gold-Reich passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of Shelly Reich and the devoted mother and mother-in-law of Amy Josephson and Barry Rapkowski, Robert Josephson and Alison Gordon, Jonathan Josephson and Stephanie La Rocque. Susan was also the cherished grandmother of Adam and Yonit Rapkowski, Matthew Rapkowski and Elizabeth Williams; Noah, and Samantha Josephson, and the loving sister of Janice and the late Eddie Davis. She was a dear aunt of Wendy and Stephen Rapps, Gary and Ellen Davis, and will be fondly remembered by Nina Heft and by Shelly’s children, Ellen and Gerry Greenspoon, and Bonnie Pantel, and by his grandchildren, Cheryl, Rebecca and Matt, Michelle and Scott; Lucas, Ethan and David, as well as by his great-grandchildren, Mila, Alec, Frankie, Silas, Levi, and Amelia.

A funeral service for Susan will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 12:00 noon at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., with burial to follow at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la ForĂȘt. The family will be observing Shiva at her daughter’s home. Contributions in Susan’s memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or to the Segal Cancer Centre c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation.
