Therese LANGLOIS

Sister Therese Langlois, a member of the Grey Nuns, passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 99. Born on March 4, 1924, in Perigord, Saskatchewan, she came from a large family of 15 siblings. In 1944, she joined the Grey Nuns in St. Albert and took her First vows in 1946. Following this, she dedicated herself to serving as a cook, spending a total of 48 years on mission at Beauval, La Loche, and Saskatoon, SK. Additionally, she served as a sacristan at the Grey Nuns Regional Centre. Throughout her life, she was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit places such as the Holy Land, Paris, and Lourdes.

Sister Therese Langlois is survived by her fellow Grey Nun Sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who mourn her passing. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at Connelly-McKinley Chapel, located at 9 Muir Drive in St. Albert, AB. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at St. Albert Catholic Cemetery. The Grey Nuns extend their gratitude to the caring staff at Youville Home, Unit 2, where Sister Therese received care.
