Verna BRIDGE

Verna Audrey Bridge, formerly known as Verna Audrey Carleton, passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 93. She is survived by her sons Robert, Darcy, and Gary and their respective families. Her husband Arlo predeceased her on July 22, 2008. Verna was also preceded in death by her parents Robert and Esther Carleton, her grandson Ian Robert Bridge, her great-grandson Brady James Saretzky, her daughters-in-law Sharon McBride Bridge and Rosa Camponi Bridge, her brother and sister-in-law Vi and Norman Carleton, and her sister-in-law and husband Marion and Neil Macpherson and Doreen and Richard Qualle. Verna was born on January 15, 1930, in Swift Current and received part of her education there as well. She married Arlo Bridge and they raised three sons together. Verna worked as an ECG Technologist at SC Union Hospital, Medical Arts Clinic, Grey Nuns Hospital, and Plains Health Centre. She formed lasting friendships with both patients and colleagues throughout her career. These friendships continued into her retirement years. Verna and Arlo enjoyed spending winters in Mesa, Arizona, and summers camping with their friends in the Queen City Good Sams. Verna will be remembered fondly by her loved ones, and a Memorial Service will be held in her honor on August 5, 2023, at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Verna’s life will be commemorated with a Memorial Service on August 5, 2023, at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery.
