Vincenzo Pacecca

Vincenzo, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, at the age of 66 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Gerri Pacecca (nee Biundo), and their three loving children, Maria (Mickey) Warner, Rosa (Wesley) Campeau, and Francesco (Adina) Pacecca. Vincenzo was a cherished Nonno to his eight grandchildren, Kylie, Mickaela, Alyssa, Addison, Annabelle, Khloe, Patric, and Petra. He leaves behind his siblings Giuseppe Pacecca and Rosa (Salvatore) D’Argenzio, Caterina (Giuseppe) DeFazio, Isabella Pacecca, and Lionello (Daniella) Pacecca from Crotone, Italy. Vincenzo also had sister-in-laws Rosalia (Onofrio) Papasodaro and Pina Biundo. Vincenzo dedicated over 30 years of his life to the City of Windsor in Public Works before retiring. In memory of Vincenzo, donations can be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.

A visitation to remember Vincenzo will take place on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Road E.) from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30pm during the visitation. The visitation will continue the next day, Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, starting at 9:30am, and a service will be held at 10am in the chapel. Vincenzo leaves behind his devoted wife of 45 years, Gerri Pacecca (nee Biundo), and his three adoring children, Maria (Mickey) Warner, Rosa (Wesley) Campeau, and Francesco (Adina) Pacecca. He will forever be remembered as a cherished Nonno to his eight grandchildren, Kylie, Mickaela, Alyssa, Addison, Annabelle, Khloe, Patric, and Petra.
In addition, Vincenzo’s siblings, Giuseppe Pacecca and Rosa (Salvatore) D’Argenzio, Caterina (Giuseppe) DeFazio, Isabella Pacecca, and Lionello (Daniella) Pacecca from Crotone, Italy, mourn the loss of their dear brother. His sister-in-laws, Rosalia (Onofrio) Papasodaro and Pina Biundo, also grieve his passing. Vincenzo dedicated over three decades of his life to serving the City of Windsor in Public Works before retiring. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel located at 11677 Tecumseh Road E. (519-253-7235). The visitation will be divided into two sessions, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, allowing ample time for remembrance and condolence. Parish prayers will be conducted at 4:30pm as part of the visitation. On Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, the visitation will resume at 9:30am, followed by a service at 10am in the chapel.
