Vivian “Faye” Wass passed away peacefully at LHSC on July 30, 2023, at the age of 96. She was a devoted mother to Derek Wass and his wife Carol Ann and a beloved grandmother to Gabriella (Faraz) Schoettle and Markus Schoettle. Faye was also a cherished aunt to Faye (Ted) Barnes and a loving cat mom to Lizzie. She was preceded in death by her son, Marten Wass, daughter Holly Schoettle, sister Wilhelmina Salts, and brothers Stanley and Ivan Evans. Faye will be remembered and celebrated during visitation at Needham Funeral Home on Thursday, August 3, from 2-4 p.m. A ceremony honoring her life will be held at the same location on Friday, August 4, at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Peter Wickerson. Following the service, Faye will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery. A visitation to pay respects to Faye will be held on Thursday, August 3, from 2-4 p.m. at Needham Funeral Home, located at 520 Dundas Street, London. A celebration of Faye’s life, presided over by Rev. Peter Wickerson, will take place on Friday, August 4, at 11 a.m., at the same location. Following the ceremony, Faye will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
