Walton peacefully passed away at the age of 98 on October 16, 2023, surrounded by loved ones at Stirling Manor. He is survived by his son Kelvin (Jamie), daughter Shari (John), and leaves behind a legacy with his 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. His beloved wife, Reta, predeceased him. Fondly remembered by his family and community, Walton will be forever cherished as a hardworking, generous individual who held his family, the ministry, and the joys of gardening close to his heart. His construction expertise led him to volunteer on various Kingdom Hall construction projects, and his passion for gardening was regularly shared with others.
Walton will always be cherished for his commitment to the community and his love for his family. In addition to his gardening talents, he utilized his construction knowledge to give back as a volunteer on Kingdom Hall construction projects. His tireless efforts were respected and admired by both his loved ones and the community he served. Walton’s genuine generosity, strong work ethic, and dedication to his family and the ministry will leave an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to have known him.
To celebrate Walton’s life and honor his memory, a memorial service will take place on November 4, at 3:00 pm. The service will be held at the Brighton Kingdom Hall, located at 117 Lisgar St, Brighton, K0K 1H0. All are welcome to join in commemorating the life of this remarkable individual who touched the lives of many through his passion for gardening, construction contributions, and unwavering love for his family.
