Wendy Grace Pollard Irving, aged 93, peacefully passed away on July 19, 2023. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron, she is survived by her beloved daughters, Pamela (Jeffery Moskaluk), Jennifer (Brian King), and Lori-Ann (Steven Wiggins). Wendy will be dearly missed by her cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Katie, Jonathan, Michael, Andrew, Sarah, Taylor, Jon, Daniel, and Caroline.

Born and raised in Montreal, Wendy enjoyed skiing during her younger years. She was an accomplished member of the St John Ambulance Ski Brigade and patiently taught her children how to ski. Wendy found immense joy in sunny days at the beach, indulging in sweet desserts, and singing along to her favorite oldies. However, her greatest happiness emanated from being with Ronnie, the love of her life, their daughters, and grandchildren. Known for her spirited nature, quick wit, and sense of humor, Wendy will be fondly remembered, with joy and laughter, by all who knew her best.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at CHSLD West Island Manor and Chateau Dollard for their exceptional care and personal attention to Wendy. A private memorial service to celebrate Wendy’s life and unite her with Ron will be arranged at a later date in their beloved hometown of Hudson, Quebec.

Wendy and her children experienced the profound impact of Parkinson’s disease, which ultimately claimed Ron’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Canada in Ron’s honor, to support ongoing research and assistance for those affected by this illness.
